Depending on your health insurance, you may be able to get one at no cost to you. Plan on doing research on price, battery range and charge time x speed, dimensions (want to be able to get through doorways), pneumatic vs airless tires and whether the dealer can offer maintenance and repairs, and how long it takes. I have seen units for sale in front of medical supply stores but have no knowledge if they do service on site
