Today, a Detroit TV station aired a special called "New Faces of Autism". It's only a half-hour special, but I missed most of it. There was a brief reference to Asperger's; they showed a boy who was diagnosed at age 2, and is now about 5 or 6 and apparently doing well. They ended with a profile on the kid who scored 20 points in 4 minutes in that high school basketball game. I didn't get a whole lot out of it, but it looks like this might be part of a series of specials. It's only airing on this one station, but there are a few Detroit/Southeastern Michigan-area Aspies here who might like to know about it.
