Today my Psychologist has re-evaluated me using the DSM V and determined that i have Autism Spectrum Disorder Level 1 Without Intellectual Disability and Without Language impairments.

i also talked to my psychologist about my sensory issues and suggested i find a teething or chew toy instead of biting other people and animals.

Sounds like you have clarity and received a good suggestion.

Try searching Etsy.com, "autism jewellery". On the high page numbers, you´ll find chewy jewellery.

You definitely don't want to be biting other people and animals. Rubber teething rings for babies are great too.
How do you feel about the change to your diagnosis?

talk to your Dentist about chew toys because some types can cause damage to enamel and/or malocclusion....your teeth need to last a lifetime :D

im feeling pretty good about it, over the past 3 years my psychologist and i have talked about a lot of the issues ive been having and im learning that my problems are extremely common in his other autistic patients. it makes me feel hopeful about my future and gives me a lot of insight to my behaviour and issues in the past.
