I like to celebrate things. Even pancake day, which was two days ago.
I am not too big on Halloween or bonfire night, although I would go to an event related to those if I was invited. Christmas is incredibly hard to ignore, and I like getting gifts for my family, but somehow most Brits think that Christmas is for children only, which I find very irksome when people say that.
Valentine's day is nice because I have a boyfriend, and I like Easter because it's in the spring and the springtime is my favourite time of the year. Also my birthday is April and I love to celebrate that.
New years eve is the worst one for me, because it makes me feel like the only 20-something-year-old who is not out partying the night away. So I get a temporary depression over the new year. I don't care for parties and drinking alcohol, but society makes me feel guilty for not caring, for some reason.
