I made a video last night talking about Sonic, i wrote a script and read it pretty good and i generally thought i did a very good job, until i played it back and realized nothing i said made sense, the sentences had words that didn't belong in it and my comments contradicted itself. Also my voice was very hard to understand, i also never realized all the pauses i had for up to 20 seconds long of me just staring off into space.

Does anyone else have this problem???? i was never aware of how bad my talking skills were.

Please try again. I would love to see your video.

Maybe just slow down a little? My problems in this area occur when I speak too fast.

I was talking slow, and i made a few videos- one without a script too. they all had the same features. Slurred speach, meshed words, sometimes they were just words mixed together without any meaning at all. and the point i wanted to get across wasn't made at all.

Are you nervous when you are doing the video?

I would be.

What I would do: pretend I'm talking to my girlfriend (in your case--boyfriend).

No i wasn't nervous, I like making videos i had fun, but i only got discouraged after i made the video.

I know i mess up a lot when i talk because people like to tease me a lot on it but i wasn't aware just how bad it was until now.

For some reason, I bet you speak better than you think. I'm wondering if you are overly critical of yourself.

By the way, how's the weather over where you are? We're supposed to get a couple of cm's of snow tonight.

It's around zero Celsius here.

I think, next week, it will get a lot warmer. It might be 20 Celsius next Wednesday here in NYC.

Do you have any snow on the ground at present?

Yep...you folks got lucky! One day in late January, we got 75 cms of snow!

And Atlantic Canada got barely any!

I think Northern Maine has gotten quite a bit of snow, though--especially as you go west from the Edmunston, NB area.

Most people including NTs are more awkward in front of the camera.

I have read and heard more than once that certain celebrities can't stand looking at themselves on camera. Johnny Depp is famous for refusing to watch any movie he's ever been in because of that.
