My sensory problems have finally gotten better

I've been sick lately. That means my sensory issues got way worse for a while. I could hardly stand eating dinner with my family. Today I went to a cafe. There happened to be live music. I just enjoyed the music and studied a bit. Eventually my mom called me. I couldn't hear her. I didn't even notice the music was too loud to hear phone conversations. Guess my sensory issues are back to normal.
