Has anyone ever done this?
I did it today. I was in a state over a very frustrating phone conversation, where the other person would not accept what I was saying, and when I tried to speak (because I heard a pause in them talking so I thought it was OK for me to speak then) they got annoyed and spoke angrily over me saying "I'm still talking!" This happened a few times and they spoke very patronisingly to me and I ended up in tears of frustration. They insisted I wasn't understanding what they were saying, I was, it was just that I disagreed with their opinion and their logic was flawed and based on generalities which did not apply to the situation in hand. This person is supposedly aware of ASCs too but is yet another NT full of their own importance who doesn't get it.
After putting the phone down I was upset and really angry, I felt really overwhelmed and wanted to scream and rant at this person. It wasn't possible so I ended up bashing out a very angry fax and pouring out everything I wanted to rant at them.
I have to speak the truth and they wouldn't have liked this fax at all. But I don't care. I felt as if I had literally melted down by fax, although I am still full of the overwhelmed and angry feeling because it wasn't the same as physically melting down.
I would say I rarely meltdown (although my husband would disagree with this) as I am more likely to shut down. But when I'm pushed too much and under a lot of stress I do meltdown more easily.
Has anyone else melted down by text/letter/fax/email?

Every so often when I'm royally upset, I'll write out all my frustrations onto paper. I rarely show them to anybody, as it's not stuff you'd let the person upsetting you know (plus a lot of swearing). I know one is supposed to tear it up when all is said. Usually after writing it all out, I feel better.

You could be me, are you my cosmic twin?
I get the same thing all the time and it is so frustrating.

Aww. I can be your cosmic twin if you like!
It's just so nice to know I'm not alone in this type of thing.

When I have a meltdown its best to stay away from online fourms, mainly local ones where I know the people on it. I once overherd someone tell one of my friends "he really gets upset and defends you alot" i'm sure refering to a preticular fourm post I made aganst his kid. His kid made our lives very hard for a time then ranted aganst my friend online then I responded with my poison keyboard.
I started writing a regular, very businesslike email to my supervisor while extremely upset and off my meds and it devolved into a suicide note. I had been spoken to about pursuing one of my special interests whilst on the clock.
