Can we 'un-veiw' it so that they LOSE money?

That is true, but we obviously don't like it when they say that Autism is a day to day struggle and we ALL need to be cured. (I call it the closest thing to Autism propaganda)

That's true, Autism Speaks is NOT funny. They are an evil evil organization! I am horrified that you would post this!

Well, if their influence becomes too powerful, the government could begin to consider us ALL "abnormal and in need of treatment", considering us ALL a danger to society until we get altered.

well in my opinion, we all need some help some time, and isn't help a form of treatment? And everyone here gets help from this message board. I think some need it more than others, and we are on the lower side of everthing

It is true that some of us could use some "support" to deal with varies issues...but that is not what CAN and Autism Speaks is doing with the majority of their money.They dont want to find ways for you to function better,they want you to be NT.They dont want to just get rid of some of your problems ,they want to get rid of you IF you cant conform to their idea of "normal".But mostly,they dont even give a s**t about people with AS.They just think we are a pain in the ass for speaking up for ourselves.Most of their oncern is with eliminating any more people with Autism and changing the ones that are here t be more like them(even if that means torture with ABA,chelation therepy of any meds that might keep the LFA from being an inconvienance to them.

CAN wants to find a way to "cure" autism so brilliant minds like our own will cease to exist and the populace will become a little more docile and our books and works of art will be rewritten and/or burned.

I've never liked "Five for Fighting" and now I've got good reason to launch into a loud tirade about how awful they are whenever I hear one of their songs played!

It's diffirent 'updated' video then the one I saw when first posted up.

It kinda makes me sad watching it though. Because they want to cure this. They want it gone. And they don't understand it.

I mean, there are times that I wish I didn't have some of my aspie traits. But then I couldn't imagine a world with out them. I don't understand the NT world very well because my world is all I come to understand.

But It comes right down to it. You take away my aspieness, You take away me. And someone has to make sure the world goes dosn't exploide due to lack of logical thinking!
