Does anyone think purely in concepts with or without visuals or language? See a lot of all about verbal and visual thinking, what about "conceptual thinking". I can sometime think but it's doesn't always have visuals or language asscciated with it. It normally has visuals asscciated with it but I can consciously remove the visual and just be left with a concept that doesn't have words or visuals associates with it. Does anyone else experience this? Languages evolve differently if separated and you see this in politics for example people don't generally talk about politics with rival political groups, words like capitalism and feminism can have completely different meaning sometimes polar opposite depending on who you talk to. With some of these words their nested means for example I can think in a way that isn't visual but also doesn't seem to be language associated because I'm not associating words with them. It's more just conceptual

I've talked about this with people and most of them have no idea what I'm talking about. I feel my third inner language is language, my second one is images and my first is just thoughts. People then ask me what makes up the thoughts that makes me know what I'm thinking about. I have no idea really. They are just the thinking and feeling what they are about? Or something.

I'd tire myself out thinking only in languages and images, they are much slower.

Yeah exactly although I'm not sure if images or conceptual think is a default or if they have equal footing in for me. Not sure which is the first when thinking its more like I have bit of everything at the same time overlapping although the language isnt as strong as the images or conceptual and sometimes none existent. My thoughts are sometimes so conceptual that it's hard to fully express them procedurally because they also exist not in a linear fashion but at th same time which is clear in my head but since they're not precedural it's not Always exactly clear how to compile them into a precedural format like spoken language.

I'm not a visual thinker at all and find it difficult to visualise things. I don't think in language either unless I'm having imaginary conversations.
I can't imagine anyone really thinks in language. That seems to be really slow thinking.
I once saw someone ask the question "in what language do deaf people think?" ... the question confused me. I thought why would anyone think in language?
