scientific evidence about autism to present to doctor

Hello.
i was wondering if anyone knew of anything that i can present to my doctor shows scientific evidence
between neurotypicals and autism

ideally sources that come from credible health care professionals
i ask as i feel that this will help him realise that some of his patients (and in particularly me)
have a neurological condition that means that cause them to act / think differently to neuro-typical people
which causes a disability while living in a neurotypical world

I was also wondering if there are any good sources on the market that can help doctors recognise high functioning autism in patients that otherwise appear to be normal.
