I suffer from the following.
I eat more when happy and I tend to eat very little when feeling depressed
i don't find it hard to get to sleep but I am often up and down stairs a lot which is a change from when I was younger when I couid sleep like a baby.
Anxiety can be social but can come out of nowhere toilet anxiety as well heart raceing etc. Depression is like just overcomes me I can be enjoying something when this happens as well.
I have had low energy for years and I feel I am getting weaker.
When I am happy I will have a shave wash my hair etc when I am not I don't see the point.
I feel guilty sometimes for no reason at all and in worse case feel hopeless.
Find it hard to concentrate untill relaxed
i have periods where I waik around irritable waiking around the house in the garden till it stops.

None of the symptom where present when i was statemented nor are they because of AS.

I looked the symptoms up and GAD and Dysthymia are very alike :?:

maybe you are just physically unhealthy.
do u do any sports, exorcise, etc?
i find i felt great after taking MMA (mixed martial arts) classes. its a very interesting sport, and very fun. its not just punching and kicking like some people think, its grappling too. i mostly focused on the ground work and submissions. i would recommend MMA or jiu jitsu to anyone looking for a sport where u dont have to run :)

Anxiety and Depression started while i was at a pretty high level playing football (soccer for yanks) and also the reason i stoped i used to be sporty so not really that reason i couid be fitter and i have thought about doing MMA, Wrestling, Kick Boxing etc even football again even though at even my age 22 i will never be pro again but anxiety stops me doing these things i couid be fine doing something and just be overcome with the anxity or depression or even both.

But I am a half a century old, have severe sleep apnea, and am overweight,
which I am quite sure has something to do with it.
