Do these gets worse with age??
I almost never prioritized social related problems that comes with autism. First drawback I was trying to get rid was sensory overload right after overcoming anxiety and depression.
And until now, social problems are the least of my problems.
I'm mainly trying to figure my problems with short term memory, working memory, sensory filter, auditory processing, and facial recognition. These symptoms translates me to be "unreliable". I wouldn't be surprised if I get fired or quit because of it, and it's still annoys the crap out of me. ![]()
Do these gets worse with time and age, and/or even/despite there are "maintenances" involved or even with treatments? Is this natural to humans in general or it's something specifically autistic related?
Mind that I'm only 21 turning 22.
I don't take meds, my family has no history of any neurological degenerative diseases, nor even a noticeable side of ND that could mistook for. My diet is starting to lean more on a more balanced diet (while still progressing with issues on tasting by doing this). I'm working, and I don't have that much stress levels (nor have it too low, but low enough to be bored half the time) so I'm not "out of shape" so to speak. And I don't live or frequently be in a polluted area. ![]()

The traits get more pronounced due to stress and from exhaustion from trying to pass as typical.
At age 21 you are now an adult, with that comes more responsibilities and expectations. Others could have matured at a faster rate. All of this means it tales more effort to function causing more stress and exhaustion.
The Autistic way to deal with this is pursuing interests you like and stimming when you get a chance.

Lol.
It's not adaptability that's been my problem. I've been seeking new things, and I'm not nervous about it. It's my memory, auditory processing, and my sensory filters that didn't helped the former. Then memory didn't helped with remembering faces.
I could shift at any given change in a middle of chaos and learn from it. But I'd forget what one says regardless how relaxed the whole place is, even if I have my focus and mood with listening. I mishear, and forget. I even forget my own spoken words, and even thought I said something gibberish that isn't.
I rarely get exhausted.. I'm not pressured in any way. If anything, I might even need it because I almost never worry about screwing up. Yet even if I'm willing for workarounds (I have) it's not guaranteed.
I'm not exactly "new". I've been working at the same workplace full-time, for almost 2 years with all it's shifts and changes.
And I stim with special interest for at least 2 to 6 hours a day, varies if I'm busy or not. I could go on without it for few days. Purely sensory stimming (pacing) for more than an hour almost 6 times a week regardless of weather and time. I wonder if this isn't enough.
If stress and exhaustion isn't the problem.. Which is it?
I won't the surprised if it's lack of stress.
So I asked, if it has anything to do with age or time.

Any solutions that is irrelevant to any forms of anxiety, emotional, mental states, physical and social issues?
Because I'm aware those do improve with time... How about something that has little or nothing to do with it?
