Another finding this study indicated: Family friends, relatives outside of a family's daily life may first spot a child on the Autism spectrum e.g., similar to outside observers.

It makes sense to me since a grandparent has had more experience in child raising and probably also likely to be more objective than a new parent.

Objective perspectives from grandparents, and other relatives receives way too little focus!
