I have this weird obsession with exploring the world from Google earth. I like to explore forests and different countries. I don't know if this is a aspie triat but I am wondering if anyone has this same obsession.

I like Street View. I have looked at some of the places I used to live and wow, have they changed. Also where I live now is out of date on Street View because on there, there is a roundabout at the end of the street and now it is no longer there.

I like looking at streets in other countries too.

YES, Google Earth and Google Street View are awesome. I can spend hours looking at different states and countries. It's a great way to explore the world.

I have Google Earth but I can't get some of the streets up, even some of the busy high streets. When I zoom in to street view, the buildings disappear and it goes all flat. It's really annoying.

I love data overlays on google maps, like using a radio to decode aircraft beacons and displaying it on google maps live, seeing an airplane fly by your house while watching it on google maps is pretty cool :D

That's a weird one - I imagine it could be a few things, outdated app, or operating system, or possibly a poor internet connection.

Yes I absolutely love Google Earth and Street View. On Earth seeing a satellite image of the whole planet despite it being outdated. And Street View for going though highways and interstates looking at all the big retailers from going down the main road. I just love looking at all those businesses. It's so awesome! And going to towns and cites I've never been to in person with Street View is amazing.

I've always been fond of maps, so Google's are wonderful. Street view is good for looking up old haunts, and also for getting ready for trips. I do wish there was a utility to "ghost" one area over another, though. I've done it with paper twice.

I used to like reading maps of US States when I was little. Like actually having physical books of them. But then Google Maps came along. So no need to have physical maps that don't get outdated as much and get updated quicker.
