Varg talks about autism
For many years, Burzum was my main special interest. The neighbours absorbed the entire Burzum discography by osmosis, I think. Anyway, then he got out of jail and the music was a bit rubbish and, in any case, the special interest eventually wained.
Not a fan of the video; he has used a condition as a way to shoehorn in his dodgy politics.
But he used this video as a way to talk about his politics; it was not a political manifestation of autistic tendencies. He moves through the points as thus:
1) More and more people are receiving a diagnosis of autism than in the past.
1.1) Autistic people have bad social skills.
2) The increase of diagnoses has nothing to do with an increase in autism per se, but rather that more people are placed into situations where their autism (exemplified through bad social skills) becomes obvious: i.e. contact with strangers, i.e. foreigners (not foreigners, good lord!)
2.2) People are not supposed to live in contact with foreigners and strangers, but in small communities.
3) When people have contact with strangers, their autism becomes apparent, and they are judged by these foreigners.
3.1) If we all lived in close communities, it would be different.
Now, I know why he said it. Varg's entire worldview is that if we all stuck to our own, and lived in small communities, everything would be fine.
However, it is this kind of traditionalism that would usually label autistic people, because such communities require communal identification. That which is different - wilder, as Varg says - is more likely to be shunned or excluded.

We would not be exluded i think. Why autistic community would exclude autist. it is a paradox.
Good lord. Haha. No he uses the word foreigner in attempt to hit the sense of otherness.
I don't know about that; Varg Vikernes is on record with his, well, I won't say dislike of foreigners, but certainly he thinks races should separate from one another.
Well, it is the 'ism' that sounds derogatory, right? As in, ism = 'thing' = 'disease' = Good God, you have an ism, stay away from me.
I think the etymology of the word in and of itself is pretty harmless, though. Then again, I guess many people don't know the etymology of the word, so I guess your point stands!
As for communities. I believe it is impossible to unite people in order to lead peace loving life. You can unite people and live happily in brotherhood only when there is some enemy. Without threat of common enemy there is can not be healthy community of any kind. Because an enemy of this or that community gives outlet to Freudian instict of death and unite people tightly than anything else.

I don't have to study etymological dictionary to understand CLEAR meaning of swearing words that i hear.
Autism .is the derogatory word because people use it in such way quite often. Did you notice. And why because we are kind a weird. But is good btw. yea that is good
I knew he was a murderer and a neo-nazi, but I didn't know he was married to an autistic woman. Lovely.
So if people should stay in their communities, why did he move to France, then? Oh, wait! He murdered someone, so now nobody will have anything to do with him!
Close communities. Right.

It depends on wich communitie you wish for yourself. Varg thinks that the best community is based on a race not on nationaliy.
As for murderer and other labels. We dont dont talk about murders. Leave it for other subject.
He is not a neo nazi, he is a white identiterian rather.

Yet he couldn't even interact with a rather small circle of early black metal musicians without killing one, hence his 20 year prison sentence.

I'll leave it to you to explain the major differences between neo nazis and white identitarians.
The interesting thing about this video is that it's a classic example of a sociopath in action. The video itself is a mix of deep insights, half-truths, gross oversimplifications and lies. Tell a big truth and watch people ignore the lie.
Most of the video leads up to one point: where he tells the viewers, some who are autistic, what they would most like to hear; that they are not broken, rather that it is the people around them that are faulty, and that in an ideal world, autism would not be a problem, it would just be an alternative way of being.
I would love to believe this. It resonates with me emotionally. I've been thinking a lot of the same things myself, about a world without electric lights and people everywhere. It's hard enough communicating with my countrymen, but add a very different culture to the mix, and it gets even more complex. I'm sure Vikernes' wife thinks this way as well, which is why he is so well informed. I'm sure a lot of the ideas in the video are not his, but his wife's.
I think the murder and the anti-social ideologies are central. I see no reason to leave them out. I'm sure he has similar messages for other groups who feel ostracised by society. There is always a chance that someone will take the bait. Then next time you watch a video where he says something horrific, suddenly you don't think it's so horrific after all......
