Mom's going to let me pick out a weighted blanket as a christmas gift, which is great because I can't afford one on my own. I've researched that it shouldn't be more than 10% of total body weight so I know how heavy it should be (10lbs-15lbs), and I know exactly nothing else about what to get.

I'm 5'6'' and I want this to be able to cover my head and my feet at the same time, how big should it be?

I would prefer it to be able to roll myself into it (like a burrito), can I find a thin one?

It's very important that I'm able to contour it to my body when I'm lying under it like a normal blanket, will it be stiff?

Please answer as many of these questions as you can, and it would be really helpful to provide links to online stores or places where I can get more info.
Texture doesn't matter because I will be putting the blanket into a duvet cover to keep it safe.

No, it won't be stiff. You can get thin ones too.

mine is 145cm x 200cm, weighs roughly 8-9kgs. Mine is thinner than a normal blanket (well my normal non-weighted blanket that i also use).

Covers me like a normal blanket (feet covered, blanket ends at my chin),

Keep in mind that most blankets are smaller than mine. Also: the bigger it is the lighter it will feel because the weight is spread evenly in the blanket, so if you want a large one you're gonna want it to be heavier one, too.

Mine is over 10% of my body weight but since the weight of the blanket is evenly spread out and the blanket is so big, its okay.

Cool thing about weighted blankets: they take a long time to get warm but once they do they stay warm for a long time too! I typically have my normal blanket on top of my weighted blanket to get warm and then remove the normal blanket.

I got mine specifically made for me, by Sister Cat (etsy) https://www.etsy.com/shop/SisterCatBlankets But they too are closed until January.

You can get similar ones from Sensory Direct (UK) - they ship to Europe.

If you're in the US i recommend checking out etsy, ive heard good things about autisticrabbit (etsy store link) https://www.etsy.com/shop/AutisticRabbitThe store is closed until January 15th

There are lots of good options on Etsy (checking for good reviews is helpful of course), and I know there's a particular site I've heard good things about but I'm having trouble remembering right now. I'll have to think about it a bit and see if I can remember it.
I'm actually working on making one right now. It's not stiff, and it's possible to make them pretty thin. Some have stuffing along with the weighted beads and will be thicker and warmer, and some are just the beads and fabric so they're thinner. I'm the same height and mine's 5 1/2 feet, and if you want it to cover your head and feet I'd go for at least about 6 1/2 or 7 feet.

kahhh, please get me a link as fast as you can!
I don't need it to have stuffing, if I need warmth I can just use regular blankets.

Just go to etsy.com and find a seller you like yourself.

I found a seller on ebay that does custom made ones- I'm in the UK but I expect there are similar folks in the US. But check with them whether they could do one in time for Christmas. Mine's due in about 10 days, I'm soooo looking forward to it. It's even got a pattern of elephants on it, which are my favourite animal!

They are just blankets which are heavy. They are good for those who enjoy the feeling of pressure. I got a smaller one which just fits on my lap because I always cross my legs very tightly and Ihave been recently been getting pain in my hips. The weighted lap pad gives me a since of pressure so I don't cross my legs so much.
When I went on holiday my kids buried my legs in the sand and the weight of all that sand felt amazing (until it started getting prickly and scratchy) so I decided to get a full size blanket too.
They are meant to help to help you relax, act as a pressure stim, and help with insomnia.
