This is a difficult one to explain, but i would really love to know if anyone else has experienced anything similar.
When I was a kid, when going to sleep i'd get strange visuals.... like in my head. As if i could see the walls of my bedroom while my eyes were shut. Except that if i was feeling content in a way, the visuals would be really small, petite and neat... almost like everything had a smooth finish without any flaws at all. And that was comforting, and it made me feel easy inside.
But if i was feeling angry, or frustrated or something was bothering me, the visuals would be huge, obstructive and way oversized, very intimidating. It made me feel uneasy, and kind of scared.
It's difficult to describe the visuals, but in one way or another they would depict my bedroom. Like a chair, the wall ect... very abstract. I never told anyone about it, because i didn't know how to explain it without them actually seeing/experiencing it for themselves. It lasted all through my childhood, all the way up until my late teens. On extreme rare occasions, i've experienced it as an adult.
Anyone else ever had anything like it?
