Life can be a struggle for anyone. So why not share a survival tip?

Here is mine. If your feet feel sore from wearing your shoes try rubbing Vaseline on them before you go out walking. It stops the pain and friction!

wearing loose, thick layers is better for keeping warm than wearing many thinner layers that hug the body.

check your engine oil level regularly, if you drive. not much worse is for your car than a seized engine from lack of lubrication, aside from maybe a broken timing belt on an interference engine. but you can't really check those as easily.

fingerless gloves are a gift from god.

always check the best before date when shopping in clearance sections at the supermarket. i recently discovered a bottle of fish liver oil supplements that expired over two years ago. granted, i don't think that's the kind of thing that is especially toxic when "expired", but it's safe to assume that if they let stuff go that bad for that long, other, more perishable items have fallen through the cracks as well.

if you don't mind the altered taste, you can lessen your sugar intake a bit by diluting fruit juice with water. that's what i do.

Take Metamucil every day - the gritty kind.

It will cut down cholesterol, colon cancer and toilet tissue use.

How to survive years of bending over in front of your TV playing Super Mario.

Stand up, put both arms to your side and turn your wrists around so they face outward. Hold this position for 5 minutes, do it 5 minutes every day and your back will automatically straighten and your posture improve.

If Jean Claude van Damme can do it so can you.

Street Fighter was his gateway, after starring in it he tried playing a game or two. Then a friend brought round Super Mario World and Mario Kart and that was it, he was hooked. Years of bad posture followed and a string of films panned by the critics. He finally got his act together with the wrist technique and made a comeback with TV beer commercials.

If you ever get to church and find out that you forgot to put on any clothes, don't try to fake it. It is probable that someone will notice sooner or later. Go home and put on some clothes.

:)

Seriously, don't try to cook at really high temperatures. In most cases, medium is high enough.

The sarcasm in this thread x.x

Took me a few times to read a couple of the statements to get the joke.

There is one: If someone says something that makes no sense logically... run it through your mind a few extra times considering that it may be a joke or figurative speech.

Another is: always be learning something. Engage in recreational activities that require brain power. This will stimulate and exercise the mind.

oh and... in the winter, if you drive... always keep a heavy coat in the trunk, just in case you break down that one time that you decide not to bundle up as well as you should have.

My chiropractor just today recommended that I do this posture.
