I wish my special interests would stay the same. They switch every couple weeks to a month. They typically switch between the same things such as:

Abnormal psychology, martial arts, video games, repeat.

Anyone else do this?

Typically, I developed a new special interest every six months or so when I was younger. However, the knowledge I gained during studying my interest is stored in my memory.

Yes, I'm quite similar to that. There's a fairly limited selection of themes that I always come back to, but I never know how long my current one will last. My computer is full of half-finished coding and music projects that were "the most important thing in the whole world" at the time, but didn't get finished because another interest caught my eye and took over. When I switch back, it's usually because of some bright idea for a new project, so the old ones never get returned to, and the new one invariably ends up unfinished too.

Yes; this is quite frustrating for me as well. I can only really have one special interest at once, as it will take up all my time and leave little, if any, time left for everything else. My main special interests are a Minecraft YouTuber and medical topics, but I also sometimes have an off and on special interest in America's Got Talent or certain toys/another YouTube channel. Even when I don't have those little sub-interests, I am still only focused on either the YouTube channel or medicine at one time, even though I would like to be interested in both at all times because I really enjoy them. I usually just wait, collect as much information on/have fun with the current special interest as I can, and have hope that I'll likely always have both interests.

same boat. I'm trying to force myself to stick to one thing so i can become "a master" (i watch too much anime ahaha)

for i used to draw, then i also started to write, then i started to write and draw manga (4 years - very intense phase), then i went into painting, then i got into writing poetry, the short stories, then i started learning arabic and got into politics and forgot art, then i got into music (5 years - very intense phase), then i started painting again, then i started digital art, then i got into poetry again and now I'm trying to keep all my hobbies alive at the same time.
I'm going crazy lol

but I'm not mentioning my "mini hobbies" like randomly doing 3 degrees in 3 different subjects because i have a death wish. oh and trying to pick up coding (not happening)
