Do you hate holidays? Having to go to the beach?

I would prefer going to school or work than tshowing my body in a bathing suit

One day in June, my friends came by in a van, and told me to lock my store. We went to the beach at the south end of Lake Winnipeg, and watched the sun go around once, following it along the horizon during twilight. It was a highlight of my life. I've never been too keen on my body, with a malformed chest and poor posture, but it looks OK when I'm moving.

I would love to have a beach body and I am working on it. But in the meantime, even though I am insecure about my body, I just tell myself that there are many many people on the beach who don't have the bodies they might want to have and no one cares so I will just enjoy the beach no matter what I look like. I LOVE the beach and wish I could go more often. I like holidays as well but sometimes I am too depressed to celebrate them. I also don't like going to the parks or the beaches on holidays because they are too crowded. I would prefer to go when other people don't go.

I haven't been to the beach in years, but I'd like to go again sometime. I am a little self-conscious about my body but I like people watching as long as it isn't too crowded.

My aspie mother was a regular swimmer all her life. I suspect that in her teens, she was more popular in a bathing suit than regular clothes, and made it a habit without understanding why.
What I don't like about beaches, etc, is being the almost only one alone. I don't like camping where I can hear people or smell their cooking. Bicycle touring gave better campsites.

I usually love going to the beach...I'll either comb the beach fully-clothed, or I'll wear swim-shorts + t-shirt + goggles and explore the undershore.

I used to live in Jersey in the Channel Islands and the island is only 9 miles by 5 miles so I had no choice but to go to a beach or pass a beach you had no choice I the matter.

Now I live in England and don’t live near a beach I miss it. Although when I was a child I hated the beach, hated the idea of sand getting everywhere. My school used to have beach-day. I used to hate it would try and get a day off school just to avoid what I thought was a pointless day. Just playing games and sport no education whatsoever.

I do miss seeing the sea especially watching the sunset into the sea.

Holidays, I hate. Especially December 24 til January first

Almost everything is closed

Stores are crowded

And etc

Other holidays are like, whatever

Feeling left out

No precious lil "friends"

I'd rather be working than going to the beach. There's nothing for me at the beach. I love Christmas, though.

I liked holidays when I was in skewl cuz I got off from skewl & I liked getting presents for a couple of em. I don't really care for holidays as an adult thou but that's cuz I had to work holidays when I was working & things were more chaotic. I think holidays are way to commercialized. I never cared for going to the beach thou but I'd think it's much better than going to skewl.

I love beaches but I don't go there for bathing, sunbathing or partying. I spent most of my childhood poking about on beaches by myself and that is still what I spend most of my time doing when I am outdoors. There is so much interesting stuff to learn about on beaches. It is busier than it was when I first went there thirty years ago but you can still have it to yourself out of season.

I've never been to any beaches for 19+ years...

I don't hate holidays overall. I just don't like being dragged to some places and events I don't feel like going. I prefer to have my own time and place.
If beaches are the kind I feel like going to, I would've like somewhere quiet, no one else around, and a very open space. Better if it's dusk, knowing when I'll have to leave.

I hang out naked in the sun with friends at a nude party beach as many days/sunsets as possible. This is my 4th year going there.. last year I was there over 100 evenings. I've been there more than that already this year I think - bonfires all Winter, and nooow I'm getting so suntanned that people are starting to ask me where I've been on vacation!

The sea here is almost always too cold to go swimming in. But I like to stoll along the beach in my regular clothes.
