According to the Myers & Briggs test, I'm ISTP-t, but I think the Myers & Briggs test assumes an NT neurology, and gets confused by those with ASD.
I'm think that I am extroverted, but any test that I do tells me I'm introverted.
I think this is the case because I do, in fact, enjoy being around people quite a bit under the right circumstances, and can even draw energy from this. If we're doing something like playing organised games rather than making small talk, I can do that for hours on end and come out of it feeling great.
On the other hand, if it's a party situation where I'm expected to make casual conversion with random people, I'll probably find myself standing by the snacks table the whole time being bored, and really wishing I didn't have to be there.
I like being around people and can draw energy from it, but because of ASD, I lack the skills to do it the way one is expected to as an adult, and as a result, I tend to come out of all these tests looking like an introvert.
I'm thinking there may be other elements of these tests that would get confused by neurodiverse people too.
