Before I got the job I am doing now in a retail book store, I did have interviews for jobs in other places, most I didn't get the job but I had some 3 or 4 offers but I turned them down, because maybe I felt I wasn't ready and unprepared for it at such short notice or that the places made me feel uncomfortable and I had only moved house to Essex from Kent and had to sign up for to look work there with the Job Centre and I had never grown up in Essex or got used to living there at that point. But for some reason I feel bad about and I seem to think if the Job Centre found out I turned down some offers the benefits would have been stopped. I didn't want to stay on benefits, I did want to work but maybe I was being rather picky and looking something somewhere I was comfortable with.
