I keep playing John Lennon's Imagine over and over. What are the songs you like to loop?

I do that but it's with LOTS of songs.

Yes if I'm using it for inspiration for a painting. Drives my family mad.

Yes.

I do it with bits of songs. Sometimes there are chord patterns that feel very pleasurable. I have before found 1 note on a piano to be just perfect and have listened to it over and over.

Sometimes I’ll listen to one song on repeat for 30 minutes or more. Then if I get sick of it, I’ll listen to a different song on repeat, then go back to the first. There are usually three or four songs I’ll do this with, taking turns with them.

I don't do it anymore, but when I was younger, I did. I used to like to listen to 1950s and 1960s music.

I've done that plenty with lots of songs.

Songs by Ole Ivars, Weird Al and Sputnik, and others

Macarena
Judith Durham's special version of Advance Australia fair
Hanging tree
Caretta Caretta
Pokemon theme song

and plenty more

sometimes I just gotta hear it over and over and over and sing along in my mind, rock to the tune and let my thoughts fly

Yes, though the song listened to varies. Typically I listen to one song three or four times, then go to another song by the same artist. Once I listened to an entire album on repeat for an entire morning.

I will frequently play any song I'm interested in multiple times over the course of a day or two with whatever song I happen to like ATM changing constantly so I can't really nail down one song in particular. I think the reason for this is partially because I want to commit it to memory, but also for analytical purposes, familiarizing myself with it so that I can possibly tweak it and add my own spin/flavor to that song.

When I am trying to learn a new song, I will play it over and over again for an hour or more, over several days or weeks. (I am a slow pattern learner.) Years ago, I was learning the second piano in a Beethoven piano four hands and I had to listen to that a million times to get it We did not have the electronics available now, so I was playing a record over and over with a cassette tape running.

All the time, but especially when I'm upset about something.

I do this sometimes, especially if I am anxious about something. Most recently it was the song "fear" by Mind In A Box. It seemed to take me out of myself and into an almost dream state - I nearly missed my bus stop.
