Any opinions on Skillstreaming?

I'm considering various forms of support for my daughter as her social functioning got much worse last year.
She needs a lot of time for herself, she likes to play alone and that's okay - but other children get offended when she just snaps at them to leave her alone. They like her less and less because of this and she started to notice it
She used to be accepted as her introverted self but now it's getting worse because of her snaps.
Our local pedagogical cllinic offers a course of social skills training for AS children based on Skillstreaming. Do you think it would be worth the time? Any experiences?
