Does anyone really care about the Aspie.
Every time I see a movie (at the moment I am watching 'World's fastest Indian') about someone who cares, I cry.
I guess I cry because I seek someone who truly cares.
My brothers do not care for me one iota, they just think that I am a ret*d, of which I am not.
I am an Aspie and a darn good one at that.
Tell me your thoughts.

Yes, people care for and about Aspies. It's paramount for Aspies to care about themselves too. I think your posts are some of the best at reminding us of this. You're darn good in general Bob. :thumleft:

I care for those who first care for me. Caring for people who do not even know me is a waste of energy.

I care too much about people. It’s tough. It’s hard for me to watch the news without getting upset.

My caring doesn’t always extend towards helping, though. I’m kind and polite towards strangers, but I don’t warm up to people very easily because I’m very shy as well as cautious.
