My taste re how sweet things are is erratic ie today using two sweeteners my coffee has tasted really sweet. Another day with two sweeteners it hardly tastes sweet at all.

I seem to go from hypo-sensitive to hypersensitive with it .

I think I'm the same sort of way. Sometimes I love sweetness and sometimes I find it overpowering, depending on my mood.

I take two sugars in my tea and sometimes when my GF makes the tea it tastes like there's none ( she does make crap tea though ) .

I'm sure my sweet receptors pack in some time.

Mens taste receptors tend to pack in at around 50 yrs old , taste buds you still have may shrink and become less sensitive. Salty and sweet flavors tend to weaken first.
