Let me explain what I mean. For some reason my mind may see certain things and group them as if they were the same thing. Now normally I am very good at spotting a fault or something that stands out. However, this is different.

Prosopragnosia or faceblindness. Certain people I group in my mind as if they are one person.

I also have a similar thing with peoples user names or their pictures where if one person is posting or the other, I think it is the same person. Two people on here that are totally different drift into the same person in my mind based on their user names, and their user names are entirely different!

Anyone have anything similar?

I don't sense that "grouping" is an "autism-specific" thing.

I've been doing this from day one of coming onto autism forums.
