I think this goes along with me having issues with flashbacks, but I get really embarrassed pretty easy if someone brings up something from the past. Say, something I did as a kid. I start to feel nervous and weird, my face turns red. It could be something minor, but it doesn't matter. I'm like "OMG change the subject quick!", I guess I feel ashamed a lot about my past and feel people still want to use events against me somehow(even though it never happens).

I'm pretty easily embarrassed, and I hate it.

There are a lot of things I'd rather just not do, than risk being seen to do them badly.

It is possible I have PDA, if so then this is one of the reasons why.

I carved a very careful niche between the nerds and the cool kids at school, without ever really belonging to either group. It took a lot of work and was stressful but it meant I did ok. One of the main things was knowing my limits and not putting myself in situations where I'd most likely make myself look stupid. It happened a few times and I still cringe about them now.

I get embarrassed very easily. Getting embarrassed itself is even embarrassing, since it triggers some of my tics.

I also hate when people bring up stupid things from my past to other people. They think it's funny, but I don't because I don't like other people hearing about those things if they didn't already know them.

Hi. I am new here, and am uncertain of my diagnosis status, so this may not be useful.

I personally do not get embarrassed easily in public. I might feel embarrassed, but I do not show it. This is probably related to my experiences: When I would show embarrassment it was used against me, either by bullies or by abusive father figures. I tend to feel embarrassed after the fact, when I am alone and in private, for something I did earlier. Only rarely do I feel embarrassment in the same moment it happens (and again, I mask it).

No, I don't get embarrassed very easily. I don't think i experience embarrassment like other people do, however.
