The situation in Canada is pretty good...

Not great, but good...

Half-Life? You mean the video game?

Yeah I was wondering what was meant by living a half life... I don't live that bad of a life but I've also chosen to remain unofficially dx'd to situations within my relationship with my hubby and future potential consequences with custody and employment but for the most part I don't think we are to the extent of being physically tortured that I am aware of. Ignored for what we believe most times, yeah at times that happens, just like it does in the US or anywhere else.

I've heard the 'half-life' term used before, but I'm not sure by who. Michelle Dawson runs No Autistics Allowed in Canada and she has lots of reasons to believe Canada is not a good place to be Autistic.
