Here is a valid question to survey what the present perception is of cyber stalkers

Although not a national or international phenomena, I do believe within pockets of society
this phenomena is a common practice, especially in certain areas of life such as journalism,
politics, police and perhaps even in the entertainment industry (as he who has the original idea, and is
first to deliver the original idea, is the person who takes credit for the original idea, and may, if the
idea is big enough, go down in history as the author of the idea and in some cases be fiscally rewarded
for taking credit for the idea, regardless as to whether the person who takes credit is the person who
is the original author or not).

Yes.
All of the above.

I'm an expert on cyber-stalking.
An expert victim of it, I mean. 8)

Somewhere between D and E. It really depends on what exactly you mean by cyberstalking. If it's to the level of doxxing absolutely should go to jail. If it's just like looking through messages D.

Yeah between D and E.

Although if it goes on for 20 years + then E.

People say 'stalking' all the time online when they don't mean actual stalking though. Checking out the facebook profile of someone who's regularly on there when you're regularly on there and you're 'friends' isn't actual stalking.

I am confused.

Do you mean cyber "stalking" someone, by choosing an innocent person (who may or may not be famous) based on ones' own internal criteria (financial or obsessive), & collecting all their personal information,& then pursuing excessive unwanted personal contact with them? And then when rejected seeking revenge by doxxing financial or personal irl information?

Or do you mean cyber "stalking" & doxxing a predatory or violent person/politician or high ranking corporate entity, who/which is out of reach of the justice system but who/which has committed wrongs that the public could be made aware of in an attempt to promote the concept of justice & possibly to prevent further & larger wrongdoing?

I know I have either/or, black or white thinking but these two scenarios seem very different. (I know scenario #2 raises the "who decides what is wrong?"question but of course that's another can of worms!)

Cyber-stalking is uncool.
