How can you explain an interest?

What it does for you, to you, shapes, MAKES you and how much better you are for having the interests you have had?

I dont explain my interests. I'm a somewhat guarded person. Everybody has interests, I dont think my interests make me special or even 'better'. That's a highly self-centered view of the world. You're just a collection of atoms in a vast universe. Interests are insignificant.

When I asked how much better you were for having your interests, I didn’t mean better than someone else. I meant a better person, more functioning, happier ect?

I feel better for having a hobby. It gives me something to focus on. It also gives me something to feel proud of once I've completed a project.
