Perhaps keeping some sort of a time log, a journal or blog, would help?
One of the reason I have been a compulsive journal/blog keeper for many years is a coping mechanism for just this type of thing.
I have a horrible sense of passage of time AND chronology....and have difficulty remembering events that happend a few days ago...So alot of what I don't write down simply dissipates into the ether. I can seldom if ever tell someone exactly when i did something. I would be a nightmare of a witness were I ever to have to testify in court about something.
I kinda blame sensory overload to a certain extent...though it can feel sorta alsheimers-y
A small example of how this has negatively affected me is a really awful exerience i had a while back with an irate customer at my day job.....I told her I had been trying to return her call over the course of a couple of hours....when really it had only been 45 minutes...so she accused me of lying and exaggerating, when in reality I simply had no concept of the time span...(and tried to tell her that)...didn't fly well...i must say.
