Good to see you back. I've been through two big system crashes so I have a good idea how you feel when everything comes back up.

DX'ed with HFA as a child. However this was in 1987 and I am certain had I been DX'ed a few years later I would have been DX'ed with AS instead.

Yeah, this is one of the few problems MYSQL really has(Multiple disconnected connects, or heavy load can bring it down or worse). Frankly, I'm surprised your general automated recovery works so well. I guess you just never figured it would hurt the sessions table. :lol: :lol: :lol: :cry:

automated repair didn't work on the search word table. I had to delete the corrupted table and manually recreate it.

Well the crash was put to good use by me. I used the down time to read blogs, articles, writing, and I finally got to listen to Alex's podcast interview all the way through to the end, which I enjoyed tremendously.

You did a great job, Alex, in the interview and in getting "our" planet up and running again.

The good news is that the crash helped me fix a performance issue which means that wrongplanet should be running pretty fast from now on.
