What's the main thing you deal with daily - since day one? What's that one thing that keeps on coming up? For me it's patience and endurance - then I get frantic and frustrated - i.e. meltdown time.

Hi jjstar. Are you also known as Starr?

I guess if I could only pick ONE thing that bothers me the most about myself, it would have to be feeling disconnected from everything all the time. It's almost like I'm stuck between or behind some invisible layers of an energy force that kind of mottles or veils the life before me, so I never quite see life for exactly how it is. I feel like I'm two steps behind everyone. I'm slow to catch on to a lot of different things. Does that make sense? If not, I'll try to explain again.

Hi Chat, No not known as starr.

I understand what you're saying about being behind the wall - I have that too. I observe but can't be touched - and if I touch or perchance am touched in some uncanny way - it's always painful.

Mine probably has to do with verbal communication. I take too long to respond to other people, or I completely misinterpret what they're saying to me, or they completely misinterpret what I'm saying to them. It's like there's a wall between me and others when we're conversing. A lot of the time, I just feel plain "empty-headed" because I cannot formulate the right words, the words they're expecting me to say. Sometimes I'm too brief, and sometimes I'm too long-winded. Sometimes I'm off-topic. The problem is, I can never figure out when I'm doing any of the above, and it all just results in me feeling awkward or stupid.

I hate talking.

Anyone not answer the phone or if you do, you're completely annoyed?

Will you rephrase the question?

Living on a planet where the inhabitants don't live up to my standards, and the subsequent frustration this causes.

I guess it'd be nice to be more flexible with attention though, being able to find myself interested in something that benefits me even if it's not my current obsession.

My biggest issue is working a full-time job. I feel like I am being forced to act all day long because if I don't I'll lose my job and not have money. If I don't have money I won't be able to feed my cats and maintain my house, etc...etc..etc..

By the end of the day I am so stressed out and depressed that I don't want to do anything at all except lay on the couch or lay in bed.

I don't really have any issues.

This is exactly how I feel most of the time and I know it's due to my totally distorted social skills that only get slightly better with age.
