What the #$%^&*()? I don't see why they would be used at all. They seem to be contraindicated, and too dangerous! And psychoanalysis or homeopathy wouldn't be much help either! Has homeopathy REALLY helped ANYTHING?

Neuroleptics have been shown to have an effect - www.researchautism.NET . But then they'd shut a rabid tiger up. Check out the side effects - Almost certain to turn one into a fat, drooling vegatable. V useful for keeping psychiatric wards nice & quiet. Check out rest of the above site for other therapies

my doctor put me on riperdal for anxiety once. i took it for a few days and had severe side effects that lasted for months after i stopped taking it. and that's supposed to be one of the safest ones.
