Do you have a tendency to stare at something that is out of the ordinary in the environment more so than a NT?

I know I do... I could just watch my favorite things all day - even if they're not doing anything!

Computers...
Trains...

I am fascinated with people. I remember the days when I would haul my cousin (and only real friend) outdoors to sit on some of the busiest streets of Toronto, just to people watch. She quite liked it also, though. Only I would find myself "staring" when a particular colour, style, pattern, etc catches my eye whether it be on someone or something...

Yes, I've always obsessively stared through windows. I was always in trouble for it at school. I can just stare out a window all day. It doesn't matter what's going on on the other side, but it's slightly better if the view includes other windows.

Yeah I do that sometimes. It's embarassing and makes me look like I'm nuts.

I don't see anything unusual in staring at things. I find it strange that anyone could simply walk past certain things and scenes without taking any notice. It is beyond me. I tend to stare also if I see a tranny, someone with very bright hair, someone in unusual clothing or goths.

If I am tired, I will stare. If I am REALLY tired, I will become completely transfixed by the most random of objects, and will not respond to anything less of a shout in my ear, or physically being shaken.

God forbid I see something pretty (to my mind anyways) or something that I would want to draw. I practically have to wear a bib to keep from drooling.

I like staring at things, it seems to give my mind a little break. It does bother other people though, especially if I'm staring at them. Usually I stare at inanimate objects or animals that aren't moving very much, like my napping bunnies

In kindergarten I used to stare at this small religious medallion a classmate was wearing, on a gold chain with another pendant that looked like a little squiggly something. I would get out of line to stare at it. Later I stopped because I realized others might, or rather, would notice.

This is the stuff that I always catch myself staring at for long periods of time:

Round air conditioning vents, moreso with older ones
Ceiling fans

Look into my eye!

I stare at all kinds of things. Movement, ocillation, hands, and most of all, people. They are so intriguing and beguiling!! That is why i am a weirdo mostly i suppose.
