Last Saturday I got taken to Italy for an enforced holiday with my mum and my sister. Was good, but airports are full of sheeple and it is hard work. Anyway, now back, and ready to resume my status as resident space cowboy. So, what have I missed?

Welcome back, Sir Speedy. I have some trouble keeping up with the goings on here; I'm here a lot and still manage to miss things; but I hope you had a pleasant holiday.

Airports make my skin crawl; I do not fly, except when I use my own wings.

Right now the ring tone on my smartphone is the first few opening riffs from AC/DC's "You Shook Me All Night Long". But before that, it was the first few lines from the Steve Miller Band's "The Joker".

I love it when my phone rings during meetings. I was known at work as "The Space Cowboy" for a while.

Steve Miller Band! Woohoo! I love that song. The only joy I got from the airport was being at the front of the cue, and deliberately leading people in the wrong direction, like round those ridiculous barriers that make you walk further. I could see a gap, but there were so many people I couldn't resist.

My own personal steed is a flying fish, as he has to cope with space and all.
