01. I don't dwell on Asperger's Syndrome
02. I don't dwell on negative memories; I can't make them go away

What a nice gratitude list, thanks for sharing it MrMark! I haven't done one of those in a long time, and I'm pretty sure I never thought long and hard enough to come up with 100, but after work today I'm going to try - thanks for the inspiration!

LOL.

Let's see...

1. I know what my passion/talent is in life, which gives me a sense of direction.
2. For all my social difficulties, I am always there for my true friends.
3. I have true friends.
4. I am okay being alone! (Life is much easier this way, I think.)
5. I appreciate art; it helps me feel connected to the world.
6. I'm open-minded.
7. I am lucky enough to have met someone who is smart and open-minded and interested in discussing the same things as me, and even if this person disappears from my life, at least I know these types of people exist so I don't feel so alone in the world!
8. Some things come easily to me...
9. Even though I'm shy, I know and like who I am. (Sometimes I even like being shy.)
10. I love where I'm from!
11. I love that I'm able to study abroad.
12. Although I'm scared of some things most people are okay with, I'm also brave enough to do some things others would fear - and these things that I CAN do are most important to me.

1. I have pretty awesome friends who realise when I need them without me always having to ask them for it.

4. My mom is actually easier to get along with now that she understands that there's a word for my weirdity and she recognizes that some of the issues that my son and I have are hers only multiplied.
5. I have a great sense of humour that I passed down to my son.
6. I am an expert time waster and can very easily divert myself and I play well with myself (LOL).
7. I have a great imagination and can write well.
8. I can easily avoid things that I can't deal with by being absorbed in something else. Completely. Totally. Without guilt.

what i like about my life

being able to walk, that's good.
thumpy black boots to stride around in.
mini crispy acorns crunching underfoot
shiny light-filled xmas decorations, and little painted wooden characters to hang from tree but put in groups around the room
the colour of this room ( turquoise and creamy pink) now i've painted out the orange and purple bits, and my bedroom ( turquoise and white).
being able to watch films in english again now DVDs exist!!
my son most of the time
his father very occasionally because at least this way i don't have to work in some horrible job
internet access, Rotten Tomatoes, and wrongplanet
"Tim and Tom", " Tyger", " Eat your peas" and "Rockfish", also "Delivery" and other
beautiful animated shorts.

Wood ( worn, smooth)
