What Do You Think of Popular-Type Women?

I was talking to Sophist on the telephone last night; and she brought up the topic of popular-type, even ditzy women. Apparently, a gaggle of them were staring at her in her drawing class while they were waiting for the professor to show up. Sophist read this message from her eyes: "Oh my God! Look at her! Freak!" Apparently, the problem of this kind of attitude (more vulgar people would call them female dogs) has bothered Sophist for quite a while.

I have never noticed much of an attitude problem—at least directed towards me—from this type of woman. In fact, most of my encounters with the popular type of women who wear form-fitting clothes in the summer haven't been all that bad; in general, they're very friendly. Most of them don't seem excessively snappy or judgmental to me; of course, there are always exceptions. Maybe I'm just oblivious to their "Oh my God! Freak!" ways, or maybe this type of woman treats other women differently than they treat men.

This type of woman does treat women differently than men. If a man is not of their standard, then that man is ignorable. If a woman is not of their standard, then that woman is fair game for abuse.

As for girls who seem -completely- superficial, sense of style and all, I usually ignore them.
What I really, really don't like -and what's far worse- are girls who appear likeable at first and then turn out to be the ultimate morons. You know, who at first seem interesting, intelligent, and possibly eccentric, until you discover that they're really the same kind of ditzy, ignorant, manizing* fad-swallowers that most other girls seem to be.

*Made-up word; The definition's pretty obvious.

In seventh grade I asked a girl what the makeup round her eyes was and she said something mean and didn't tell me. She looked like a raccoon.

Up themselves boys:

Ignore girls like me and b***h about us.

Up themselves girls:

Giggle and whisper about girls like me, b***h about us, and think thay have the right to physically abuse us.

I have come across some "prep" girls that are confident enough to like pretty much everyone, and them I repect. Others are just rotten on the inside, insecure and awful..

And for girls.. it's not just those girls that give us problems. I get problems from less popular girls too, though probably for different reasons.

I don't really care how popular someone is, as long as they're not an a***hole about it.

As for popular-type women, I haven't really associated with any of that description for a long time, so I really can't comment.

What do i think of them? Well a lot of them are tidy bits of gear so i think of them quite a lot and had better not express in too much detail exactly what i think of them in a family friendly thread. However a lot of them have attitudes that stink.

For some reason (and this is not such a good negative generalization to make) I want to slap every single teenage/early adult female walking around in flip flops with a cell phone stuck to her ear carrying a single notebook (at university I tend to take MANY books in a heavy bag with me to school) and smacking on gum while trapsing through the hallways. ARGHHHHHHHHH!! !

I usually only get the 'freak' looks before they know me. Then they find I am smart and either want to ask me many questions about the particular class we're taking-- for instance, right before a test-- or they find I have some other talent like in art for an art class and they warm up to me.

But until then I despise them.

At my age there is no reason to interact with them. Even as a mature student back in the 1990's there was little in the way of contact.

I think I know the type you mean though and when I was within their milieu at a younger age there seemed to be an agreement of mutual indifference.

How on earth could you read "my god you're such a freak" from someone's eyes? Maybe you're just "reflecting"?
