I feel weird. My mom and stepdad went to go to the store, and I was left home alone. I went outside to pull the recycling can back in and I heard some really crepy sounds. it seemed to be a little girl screaming for help, like she was upset at her mom or something. so i pulled the can in and came home. I was going to call my mom when I heard more screaming, and someone came running up to the door, screaming ( a girl) knocking very hurriedly and loudly. she then ran away screaming. I called my mom and she said the girl had been with a group of guys around my age running around without her pants on. she was about my age too ( 14) My stepdad just called me again and said my mom is calling the police and she's saying something about the girl saying she was getting paid. I'm confused and I don't like this....

and now the police just came to the door!! !! It was really scary! my dog started crying and whining really big and loud, and I put her on the leash, and he knocked, and then saw phoebe and asked me, to take her into the garage, because she was trying to protect me and she was a 'crazy dog' so I did and he asked me what happened and stuff and I got really scared and upset, and I want my mommy. and he asked me my age.I don't like this. I wish I had just kept my mouth shut, now I'm upset, and I don't want to get someone from school in trouble.

my dog started crying again like something was wrong and I went to the door and it was wide open. i guess I forgot to lock it. I don't know if someone opened it or somehow it opened itself but i'm really scred and I don't like this at all.

Wow that is scary. You did the right thing by calling your mom. I hope someone gets home soon to be with you.

My Mom says she will be home soon. but this was really scary. it seemed liked the person was hurt and I don't like that! and then the police men and everything and the door, and now I'm, really tired, and I'm thinking of snuggling my puppy for a while. I know she will protect me.

i'm even more scared now. when the door opened my cat got out! my brother called me from college and i realised I lost him! so my mom had me go out for a minute with flashlight and look but those guys came back! but my mom is stuck in traffic and can't get home yet, and i'm really upset. it's dark, and yucky and the police might come back.

I lost my cat!! !! ! I'm mad at my mom for taking so long. I lost my cat and it's 8:39 and dark and my cat doesn't like to be outside like this. I'm scared again. my mom says she's almost almost home. then we will get my cat back.

Wow, hope that screaming girl turns out to be all right. Those boys, though, I hope they're not let off too easy. Hope you make it through the night without any more shock.

You certianly did the right thing - and I'm sure your cat will come back as soon as things quiet down around your house - I've had cats disappear for a day or so and then come right back - she is probably in a tree near your house . . .

Don't be scared of the police in situations like that - they just want to help that poor girl . . .
I hear call after call after call every night from people who are in situations like that girl was and no one does anything - but YOU did something and YOU did the right thing - regardless of what other people do . . . it is hard to do the right thing sometimes - but that doesn't mean we shouldn't do it . . .

You will have to tell us how it turned out - if you want to find out the whole story - well, I don't know how it works where you live - but in Texas you could call the records department of the police station and get the report of the incident and find out exactly how much you helped that girl . . .
