new extreme makeover Home Edition has kid with autism

I'm watching a new episode of extreme makeover home edition, the family has one kid with autism (they don't say what kind, but it looks like AS) and there 3 y/o who is showing signs of it.
that's not the family's main problem with a genetic bone disease and a "haunted" house and a house who looks like it's gonna collapse
but the relation seems cool...

if my house got extreme makeover i wouldnt get plasma TVs in my bedroom and all that, id just get it totally decked out with my sensory likings hehe...
possibly even an anaconda who would wrap me up at night and squish me to sleep hehe :D

id say it was 50/50 with autism and the cholesteral disease bing the focial point of the show. The autistic kid's room was pretty cool. I like the cacoon thingy. Plus the hole was cool.

I dont usually just watch the show but my sis had it on and i saw it was about an autistic kid & fam, so i watched. Was a good episode. I saw the kid pace alot.

a cacoon thingy? ooo... whatd it look like... id probably like something like that if it were able to automatically wrap me up tightly... would really help my sleep because my sensory issues represent like 80% of my sleep issues...

It was kind of painful to watch for me. I mean, the sister tells the designers that her brother really doesn't like crowds, and then when they get back, what is there? A giant screaming crowd.

Must be the episode mentioned on the AS forum,am remember an episode of EMHE a long while ago that were doing up the house and garden for an autistic blind boy.
They made this massive wooden swing for him.

I remember there was an episode. They had five kids on the autism spectrum and one NT. They knocked down their house and rebuilt it. They made each of their rooms into the room with their favorite interests and for their needs. This one girl who liked to draw, they made her room with papers on the wall for her to draw on since she drew on the walls and this 12 year old girl with PDD-NOS, she liked swings and toys so she had toys in her room and there was a swing set in the backyard for her to play on. The five year old boy with severe autism, had this easle with pictures and words. The Asperger boy had electronics in his room because he liked technical stuff. I guess I don't remember the show too well. I don't remember what the NT girl got and the other kid.
