A pressing discovery - a recent newsmaker has AS

I was very surprised to hear this, but just before my dinner break earlier tonight, I was told that a recent newsmaker has AS. This person was popular in the television industry about 30 years ago. He always had something with him on television that backed up his social issues - a parrot. This person is Robert Blake.

Now, I don't know how many of you people are old enough to remember "Baretta," but a lot of people liked that show.

A number of years later, he was convicted of killing his ex-wife. If I remember correctly, her name was Bonnie.

I was extremely shocked to hear this. That is probably because we, as people with AS on this forum, know that is not a nice thing to do, and we would never do anything like that.

That just goes to show you that we shouldn't underestimate people for their disorders. However, I am just now finding out that Robert Blake had AS, years after he was in the news? Incredible!

If I'm not mistaken, he was aquited of homocide charges, but still has to face the civil trial.

But he pretty much did it. The defense sucessfully discounted the testimony of stunt men he attempted to hire to kill her by claiming they were unreliable drug addicts.

Quite commical, but he was not found guilty. But so was OJ.

Underestimation is not the answer to potential conversation.
