The problem with doctors

I see two problems with doctors, attempting to diagnose things like autism and ADHD. They do it mostly by asking questions. They say things like "does your child run around a lot". And if the child is young, of course the answer is yes. So now, either the doctor is going to say "All children do that" and say there is nothing wrong, or else say they have ADHD when they may not, because all children do do that, the question is just how much.
And if they do observe them, unless they plant candid cameras all over the house unknown to the child, the child is going to behave better with the doctor, so of course there will be no diagnosis. The medical profession needs to diagnose better.

Or they ask me same question and I say..how the hell should I know that was 50 years ago, I wasn't paying any attention. They could ask my parents, if they're good with an ouija board. It's geared for kids and yeah if you're younger then I am, you're still a kid.

But seriously, it's hard to answer them, so much water under the bridge and it's muddy to be sure. And because of it I'll never really know if I am 100%, perhaps if it was tracked to some genetic see-able link, but then, so what. It fits now and no other label that they've called me fits as well.

Little hints I can see from the past, like being in a leather harness by my parents. Keep me with in reach, but even that isn't a proof, it was a bit of a fad back then. Kind of like drugs and DX's are now. It's when I add in other brief little remembrances that I can guess that I might have been a bit on the move. Like my mother wasn't kidding when she named my faithful dog my shortened name as well, she would call and one of us might have come, and it might have been me following the dog.
