When you go to a certain restaurant, do pick the same meal everytime? It seems like people think I'm odd.

When I go to Macayo's (mexican food restaurant), I always get the chimichanga.
At Manuel's (another mexican food place), it's the beef fajita burrito.
At Subway, same sandwhich every time.

Get it?

It's not like I'm scared to try other food, in fact I like the other food they have, it's just what food I like there the best.

I don't think it's odd at all. I get the same thing every time I go to this Greek restaurant I love. I DO like the other things on the menu, but this dish is my favorite and I'll order it every time no matter what. There are some places where it doesn't matter as much to me what I order, but some places I HAVE to get a certain thing or I just won't eat.

If you've tried everything else and find thats what you like its no biggie.

What bugs me is people who wont try anything else and insist on getting the same thing everytime. A few people I know ALWAYS get sweet and sour chicken at Chinese.

If I'm at a mom and pop place I always get a Tomato,Lettuce and cheese with a fried egg.

I always get the half and half Green Lantern / Edgar Allen Poe at Dewis Pizza.

I always get the Veggie patty with bacon at subway . ( I love the look on thier face)

I try new things. By now I have apretty good idea what I do and don't like( Meat on Pizza) and what doesnt like me (Onions).

I think there's nothing wrong about it. It is costly to go to those sites so it is better to ask the dish you like the most or at least one you know you like, imho.

Yeah why not? I tried once or twice to be adventurous and try other stuff on the menu that doesn't immediately grab me but it's hardly ever I discover other stuff that I prefer or even like. So I end up going back to my favourite.

As there's a fair amount on most menu's I don't like I tend to stick to the same few things. I do like to alternate between those few though!

If I find something I like at a given restaurant, the chances of me ordering it when I return to where I got it increase to about 95%.

I usually choose whatever appeals to me the most at the time. If it happens to be the same thing I had last time, so be it.

Same here.
I try to change for the sake of it but most of the time it's just that one favourite plate - identified for that particular restaurant.
I think waiters find this slightly eccentric and amusing.

I do the same thing.
I go out for dinner with some friends on a fairly regular basis, and most of the time they know what I'm having by the time we've decided where we're going.

Yes,but don't go to restaurants,as in the sit in and eat there ones, order something and get out type ones.
Subway-its the white roll [the longest, but without that yellow stuff on the top],chicken+bacon, take it home and put clover butter on.
KFC-colonels meal [bucket, but give all the chips to someone else as don't like them and save some of the rest for next day],large tub of gravy and some barbecue sauce.
Chipshop-Breast of chicken [on the bone] and fried rice with no peas or egg.
Pizza hut-deep pan base, tomato paste [no lumps of it],no cheese, chicken and mushrooms.
