I met a young 21 y o man, whose family has never heard of asperger's disorder, but I KNOW he has it, i can tell. HE has been in the mental health system for a long time, and this family has never heard of it. He is constantly switched from one med to another, and the specialists in my area really don't know anything about the disorder. Can any one give me resources for the state of Michigan that I can give this family to help him get evaluated? Also, I think they are on a budget, too. I told the family that I thought I knew what was up, he is very much like I was 15 years ago. I am not qualified to dx, but you all know, we can spot our fellow man. Please help. Spirited
