Members who play a character of their Avatar in the forums

I've noticed that when you ask a serious question or start a forum people sometimes answer playing a character mostly to do with their picture/Avatar. Personally i cant work out if their doing it because their shy about being their selves or really deeply obsessed about a persona that they act like him/her/it
or maybe they truly believe they are it/her/him. Maybe their doing it too piss people off or maybe they are just young and immature.

who knows personally i don't like it when i'm starting a serious forum or joining one in order for answers for things i'm struggle with in life and people give silly irrelevant answers.
