Most memorable avatar?

Who's avatar do you think is most memorable... does this help you remember a particular user better?

If a person changes their avatar alot would that make you remember them less?

hm. Very few avators stick out in my memory...those that do, do so because they were offensive or to large for the site and caused forum blowout.

I think the avator helps me to understand the person better. It seems a reflection of them, what is important to them, therefore when they change, I do find it a bit...jarring.

You, for example, seem like a nice, open person based on your avator.

edited to add: the exception to being jarred by a new avator is the posters who regularly change them. Those I am able to view as a picture book of their interest.
spelling also fixed up as long as I was editing.

Mine reguarly changes, from film scenes to giant robots and so on.........

I can't believe no one's mentioned Nomaken's old avatar yet. What can beat an anime girl morphing into an illithid and biting off a guy's head??

Anbuend's tree bark is a close second.

I like Sophist's avatar,WooYayhooplah's avatar,Sean's avatar,RobertN's avatar,Vivi's avatar,the SPECTRE's avatar,Nomaken's old avatar(although that one scared me),and Serrisa's avatar.I just know I'm forgetting someone...

I don't like it when people change thier avatars because changes upset me.But then again,it's THIER avatar...

I like lots of avatars...and no, it doesn't confuse me when people change their avatars. I like changing mine every so often when I get bored of the old one. I have so many avatars stored...and some great christmas ones

I didn't personally like that one. It was kind of disturbing.

I briefly look at someone's avatar before reading their posts, so changing their avatar causes a bit of confusion.

i tend to do the same as neanthumain, so when everyone adopted sean's avatar (slight exaggeration, i know), it completely confused me for days.

my all time favourite has to be Mel's fairy - oh how i miss seeing it around... :cry:

I've always liked SpaceCase's original wagging tongue avatar. I know it is a stock avatar from the site, but it fit her screen name so well.
