I have heard you can have a learning disability and Aspergers?
I know for sure I don't have ADDH. They would have already labeled me with that a long time ago.
I am sorry for all the questions. I guess this is my obossion now.

Yes. As a whole, have you noticed the spelling on Wrong Planet? Discounting typos? Begs the question.....

So why does WP not have the spell check feature?

I would say that it is definitely possible to have a learning disability in addition to asperger's.

Sorry- I don't want to be mean, but there are actually two spelling errors in your above entry! Are you a native speaker of English?

Actually, was this mean to be ironic?

I know that AS and NLD can co-occur frequently. But I sometimes wonder whether this is truly NLD or a different kind of NLD. The literature usually considers NLD (not related to AS) as white matter damage and is often seen with birth trauma. Birth trauma seems more common in ASCs, however not as common as the frequency of NLD traits in ASCs. So I wonder whether many of the NLD seen in ASCs isn't often a developmental form of NLD rather than the brain damaged version.

Since the essence of NLD is disruption to certain types of connectivity and that can occur either via damage (like hypoxia) or be inherent to the anatomical structures themselves (like in ASC), the behaviors will be highly similar regardless of the original cause (damage vs. development).

My 2 cents.

Autism mandation?

educational label on the IEP--gets him the services (checked box). Funny no one seems to know what this term means? Maybe I'm missusing it. I have heard it though in the special ed lingo but when I tried to look it up, I didn't find anything.

(sorry)
