.....for this:

Quote:
Ascan, go back home to your all-white hole-in-the-ground and leave the vast majority of law-abiding Muslims alone.

In response to this

Quote:
ascan wrote:
Even racists can write good articles. I sometimes wonder which is the worst: "racism" or the systematic destruction of your country and it's peoples' way of life to make way for a bunch of foreigners hell bent on Jihad.

But that's obviously in a European context.

Is it right for the Mods to give me an official warning for opposing Ascan's racism, when Ascan gets no warnings himself.

PLEASE VOTE.

If more than 50% think it is wrong to moderate ME, I hope the Mods will withdraw their official warning.

If it is less than 50% I accept the warning and will not question it any further.

The poll closes in 2 days.

if you're going to do this, robert, you might want to quote the whole warning, and not just edited highlights.

I don't mean this personally against you, Vivi :) . I am just talking about the way the site is run generally. Feel free to post any evidence you feel is relevant to the case.

They were right to do it. She did not say that she supported racism or anything, but they do indeed right well sometimes. Wagner wrote great music; stating that I like wagner is not anti-semtic. And it should not be read as such. . . . . . . .

For that, you responded in such a way that could be construed as a personal attack. I'm afraid the mods are right on this one.

You received the warning for two comments to different members RobertN. Would you like to post your other personal attack for public appraisal as well?

I'm going to agree with Prometheus on this one.

I agree with Prometheus and Ed. The mods need to make sure that otherwise civil debates don't get completely out of hand.

I agree with Prometheus, ed, and Namiko. It was a personal attack, RobertN.

I knew so many people like this at school,,, people who always needed something to protest against, always trying to find something to get politically het up about. Usaully wearing a smelly old Che Guavera T shirt every day and with Dreadlocks. And which band is it that made you like it...RATM or the Manics? It was always one of the two.

What has happened to my other referendum. Locking the forum means people can't vote. If people can't vote, that is a violation of democracy and free speech.

Of course I am! Frequently! Dear god, if you want to use my behavior as a general standard, I think we'd have the apocalypse! I never said that I never acted that way myself, but I also don't htink it's right when I do, you do, or anyone does!

RobertN, you're getting a little carried away. You shouldn't take what I say so personally. You talk about freedom of speech; don't I deserve that, too? Nothing I've said is racist. I'm not racist. I believe everybody should be treated equally: white people, too. Yes, I say slightly provocative things to tease you a little, but that's all part of the fun of communication, is it not? You know, I've nothing against you personally, or anyone else here, so why not give it a rest, eh?

At least if you're going to call me racist, spend some time working on a coherent explanation of why you think that's the case, and I'll be happy to give it serious consideration.

RobertN

I hope You don't take this the wrong way.

I think that You take things ab-it to personally. Whatever a member might say as a attack on Yourself. If You wound I think in the end (pm that member) first and ask them their reasoning of their post. Then You might not take it so personally. I think when You bring it up into the Public Forum, You are just taking it to personally again. This does not help You or Them one bit I think. It is good to have a discussion on whatever it maybe. But You can not be a mind-reader then start taking it to personally I think. Especially in such a way that is maybe to personal. I hope I am wrong but if You would I think do what I have suggest it maybe would go better for You if You where willing (pm member) first and then get their reasoning next. Just something I hope You will think about. Okay.

I'm sick of threads complaining about someones post you don't agree with.

Not everyone is left winged like you, just leave them alone!
