How do you relate to people that are NT? Are they a totally different species to you?

Situation: If you watch movies, read books, anything with people in it, they are almost always NT. How are you able to enjoy these art forms when the people in it don't share your way of functioning? Personally I find it hard to relate to it at all, it is stripped from it's purpose and I don't know how I would be able to enjoy it.

Another question: What's your relationship with the NTs?

They feel like a similar, but different species. Like I'm an alien, or an elf. I can appreciate "normal" art, but I often find myself thinking "This would be sooo much better if..." because the characters act a little weird to me.

I just let the world (and people in it) pass me by. I couldn't care less about any of it.

I just observe, but do not intervene, in NT issues. For the most part, unless something relates to me.

Sincerely,
Matthew

I don't expect the rest of the world to be just like me. I think it's probably a good thing that it isn't. I enjoy TV/movies/old radio shows/books/etc. regardless of the fact that most of the characters are NTs.

I don't feel that I function any less than NTs, I feel that I'm from a different time and a different country.

Some more than others. The spectrum seems to continue from max-AS to max-NT so people in the middle are NT but not that alien to me, I guess. There are people who seem, for lack of a better term, "aggressively NT" extroverted, superficial types that I really can't understand or stand being around, but they are a minority themselves (they just seem like my opposite).
